Artist Statement:
“Lines” is an abstract 2D animation using jazz music downloaded from the Freesound website. Those movements are drawn in Photoshop and synchronized with the music. Using “Lines” to represent an abstract “dance” performance inspired by jazz music. The song provides inspiration for creating movement and colors of graphics including enlargement or explosions of the objects. I imagined those lines dancing happily with each other like humans dancing at a party. Therefore, the animation conveys a pleasant atmosphere to the audience through the "line dancing performance".
